1. What DataAct Ready is

DataAct Ready ("the Service") provides an informational readiness self-assessment for Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the EU Data Act) and, for paying customers, a set of template documents generated from your assessment answers ("the Pack").

2. Not legal advice

The Service provides general information and document templates only. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Laws change and their application depends on your specific facts. You should have any template reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for actions taken or not taken on the basis of the Service.

3. Purchases and delivery

The Pack is a one-time digital purchase processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment and applicable VAT. The Pack is delivered instantly in your browser and generated from the assessment data stored on your device.

4. Refunds

If the Pack doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

5. Acceptable use

You may use generated documents within your own organization, including adapting them for your contracts. You may not resell or redistribute the templates as templates.

6. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be posted on this page.
